Opening Seremony at the City Center Ice rink, is done.

DBK and Drammen Bandy girls Y17 played a small bandy match.
DBK came out as winners with 5-4.
Amanda B Jahnsen came out as a good referee, and 9 girls got their medals from NBF.
Thanks for a nice exibition game.

Erik Hansen from NBF announced as host, everybody welcome to Drammen.
The Mayor of the City of Drammen, Mr Tore Opdal Hansen, declared the World Championships as opened.
And he told us about nr 2 artificial ice rink at marienlyst, will be opened in November.
Yiiippy.
Magnus Skjold from FIB made out his greetings from FIB and wished us all good luck.
All team leaders and referees, came together with org. comm and some guests,
to the beautiful Gildehallen at Aass Breweri, for some food and a meeting.

Now we are looking forward to match start tomorrow at 09.00.
Thanks to everyone for making this a very nice happening.

Control match SWE-Drammen Bandy U19 is canselled, due to a transport delay.
Sweden bus has left Oslo Airport 18.40,
and Team Sweden wanted to cancel todays control match.
This match was set to 18.00 and then moved to 18.30.
And then again with 1,5 hours driving OSL-Drammen, they could not make it in time.

Now both Team Canada and Team Sweden, are well checked inn.
Both equipment at the arene, and at First Hotel.
They are both teams, doing practicing on the ice at Marienlyst on monday morning.

Drammen Bandy was well prepared for the match, and the young boys was a little bit
disapointed, to the cancelation. They took out a good practicing anyhow.

Team Canada and Team Sweden. You are most Welcome to Drammen.

Stabaek became Norwegian National Leauge Champions yesterday,
by beating Nordre Sande 11-7. Congratulations.
Oponents yesterday, and Team-mates for Norway from this weekend.
Both teams are represented with several players in Team Norway next week.
These 4, among the rest of Team Norway, are now all together really looking
forward to attend to Drammen and World Championships.
They are well prepared, and heading to become medalists during next week.

Team Sweden has become World Champions in all 4 tournaments. Fantastic.
Roumers says that Team Russia now is more prepared than ever.
Team Norway became Bronze medalists 2006 and 2007, and now maybe Finland is the toughest oponent.
Both USA and Canada will attend to Drammen well prepared, and with intention as medalists.

We have beautiful winter conditins in Drammen these days, and hopefully
it will last throughout the Championships week.
The Ice conditions look very prepared, and Iceman is also working hard these days.
He and his Crew will do a lot to present the best conditions for Womans Bandy.
We are working hard to get these sites on track, and the Teams will soon
all be presented from Teams-button, from the left menu.
Some Press has already been accreditated, and hopefully more Press will
send us their notes, from Press-button from the left menu. 
We are all doing good preperation works, and we are looking forward
